This is my sweet friend Lindsey and her adorable daughter! They have such a sweet bond and I am so glad I was able to capture that for them! I absolutely love photographing seniors!! It is so great having beautiful girls to work with who are happy to have their pictures taken and they follow all of my instructions! We just got back from a great trip to Bear Lake. That is probably my FAVORITE place!! I will post pictures soon... I actually did a mini session of my twins while we were up there. They aren't the most willing subjects, but I think I got a few good shots! I did a session the night before I left for a friends little family. This is just a cute one of one of her little guys!! Can't wait to work on the rest!

P.S. My WA trip dates are set. I will be there July 26th- August 4th. I am going to book up the 27th-31st first and if I need to open up a few more dates at the end of my trip I will!!

Carrie and Peter are the cutest & sweetest couple! I just love the way they look at each other. It is obvious that they are madly in love! They have a family member who is doing their wedding day photos but they wanted to get some temple pictures done in advance to relieve some stress on the wedding day, and then we headed up to Mueller park in Bountiful for a little bit to get a few more shots!!

I don't have exact dates yet, but it will be the late part of July and the Early part of September. When I was in WA last week I helped my mom (who is starting her own photography business) do some newborn pictures! The great part was that it was for a friend that I grew up with! They have such a beautiful family... and Camille had so many cute things in her house, my mom and I didn't even really need to use anything we brought!! Here are just a few of little miss P.

This is my friend Ingrid's beautiful family. They were in town for the Holidays and she wanted me to get some pictures of the whole group! It was FREEZING on the day we did these, so it was super quick! I wish I would have had more time with them though because they are all so easy to photograph.

Some people have been asking if I am doing pictures still, so I guess that should be a pretty good motivator to update my blog! I got really busy in the fall and then by the time the Holidays came I just wanted to spend time with my family...so this little blog has been neglected for far too long! I actually have been working and have lots to update!

This post is extremely long.... but I couldn't narrow my photos down. In the summer I started thinking about doing a project photography related that was something I wanted to do, but different from my normal family or children shoots. I decided I really wanted to photograph a labor & delivery and the fresh new baby. Luckily I just happen to have a friend who likes to have a big party in the delivery room, and she was excited to let me photograph baby #4's entrance into the world!!

I unfortunately will be having c-sections from here on out and can only have my husband in the delivery room. I am pretty sure I am going to train him on my camera so I can have pictures like these for our next baby!! I am in love with them!!

This was my first time being in a delivery room (aside from when I had my boys), and I will have to say it was so awesome to be a part of baby Paityn's birthday. It was such a special experience to be present when a baby fresh from heaven was brought into the world. It truly was a spiritual experience, and I am grateful I was able to not only be there, but photograph the experience so their family can always remember the day baby Paityn was born!

I am considering doing this for others, I realize not everyone is as open about having people in the delivery room as my friend, but because I love these pictures so much and loved the experience I want to offer the opportunity to others. I haven't figured out pricing yet, because I would have to be on call and it is sometimes a long process to get those babies here, but I would like to get some feedback and see if very many people would be interested in this!

I just got back from WA on Sunday. I was super busy while I was there with lots of family, senior, and children sessions. I really was going to try and get a sneak peak up for everyone before I leave to Yellowstone today, but I am just out of time! Josh has the car loaded and is just waiting for me to finish!

I have lots more to post when I get back Monday!!

Have a good weekend! We will be enjoying nature and lots of buffalo, elk, deer and everything else in Yellowstone!

I first need to apologize that little miss Andi seems to have a few more pictures up on my blog than her adorable brothers.... but, I think I bought my aqua high chair and my vintage car just for her! These pictures are EXACTLY what I had in mind when I bought them both a little while back! I really love everything about these pictures! The location was awesome... it was suggested by Tara (the mom) and it happens to be like 5 minutes from my house! So.. since she knows the owner, I am hoping to use it every once in a while!! Also we are good friends with this cute fam, so I felt a little less stressed than I sometimes do during a session! Lastly could they be dressed any cuter or have cuter kids? I don't think so!

Lastly.... I really have web sharpening issues. These really don't look grainy or weird ... but I really struggle getting them to look normal on blogger.

Here it is..... my first wedding!! Katie and Scott are such an awesome couple! Their wedding day was perfect, I have never experienced such amazing weather in August! It was supposed to rain, but it never did and it was nice and cool all day! What more could you ask for??

Last weekend at a family dinner at the park I was taking a ton of pictures of my boys eating cupcakes and Mr. Gunner came and said "look at me, meghan, look at me" and this is what I got! He continued to pose for a while and I got several cute shots, but I think this is my favorite. I especially love the frosting around his cute little smile!

I did family pictures for this little beauties family a couple of months ago and got to do a session of just her (mostly) a couple of weeks ago! Isn't she a doll?

As usual I am struggling with decisions. Do you like these all in color or B&W. I kind of lean towards B&W but her eyes are so blue... I just can't decide!!

I am in love with this pic! Look at the sass on Jenna's face, and the crossed legs!

So it wasn't really "baby Megans" picture day... but seriously I had to post this one! Adorable.

Ok So this last one was completely experimental. I really don't know what I am doing with sun flares... and this was a prime opportunity to try. I kind of get it, but not totally. Any photogs who may look at this any advice would be great!

I worked with Brynn at the bank before the boys came along! I was so excited when she asked me to take their family pictures. Their little guy just turned 1... and let me tell you he can move! I wasn't expecting such a mobile little guy at 12 months!! (Our boys didn't walk until they were 17 months!! lol) But I loved all of his energy and I think it really comes through in all the pictures!!

New Location

This is a new location that I found with the help of my Dad. I didn't know, it but we have some distant relatives that live here in Utah and own some small orchards and a fruit stand!! I was so happy to see this cute sign that happens to be my Maiden name. I was also pleasantly surprised to see this awesome truck parked in the orchard! There are also some older trees in the orchard that are huge and knotty!

{Little J was kind of having a rough day. Seeing how he was dealing with a double ear infection and we were shooting right around his bedtime I don't blame him. I love this one of him though.. you would never know he was having a rough day!}

{Holy Eyes! I have known this little guy since he was born, but I didn't notice how awesome his eyes were until I did his pictures! I honestly only sharpened the whole picture... nothing fancy with his eyes! I tried to... but it made them look fake! I might add that I see a little mischief in those eyes too!}

Isn't this the cutest family?? I have known Sara and her husband for a long time! Sara's Dad was my soccer coach for several years in middle school and high school and her younger sister was on my team. Her husband graduated with my older sister and I was good friends with his little brother in high school too!

These two were high school sweethearts and you can tell they are still completely in love! They have such beautiful kids and you can tell that they are a super happy little family!

Oh yeah... and big brother C is a little stud. He is not even 5 yet and he plays ice hockey. I have seen video on their blog and he is awesome!!

I did these pictures while I was in Washington last week. They are all just beautiful kids/babies! They were so good too... it was suprprising how easy they were!! The babies both made me a little baby hungry, and I just loved the twins because they are adorable and I loved watching them interact. It gave me some hope that one day my boys will be best buds!
